This bathroom was part of a larger two story addition in Oak Park. Within the new master suite, this beautiful master bathroom includes a double vanity, a walk-in shower with a frameless glass wall, and a separate room for the toilet. Carrera marble was the tile of choice for much of the bathroom, but for the back wall of the shower the owners chose a hexagonal mixed-pattern tile. We love how the accent tile adds texture while staying true to the neutral color scheme.
This bathroom is beautiful down to the last detail, a built-in niche in the shower.
For this Park Ridge two-story addition, the owner requested frosted glass swing doors for the master shower and toilet. An architect himself, these are a signature of his own projects.
We love that the doors are both functional and beautiful, as is the bathroom itself.
It’s not everyday you see a copper bathtub! This clawfoot soaking tub shines, literally and figuratively. Nestled in a corner alcove, under decorative wooden beams, softly lit by the frosted window, it’s the perfect spa at home. It’s hard to believe that this used to be an unused attic. This bathroom is the perfect example of the potential that the average Chicago home can have.
We commonly see wood effect tile used for floors, but in this master bathroom (part of a master suite addition) it serves as an accent wall for the walk-in shower.
This wood effect tile adds a touch of nature and drama.
We can’t wait to see what is in store for 2018!
